Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited (CESL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Law Architects as the architectural partner for a new Catholic secondary school in Baranduda; St Francis of Assisi College Baranduda.
This marks a significant step forward in the development of a purpose-built secondary school designed to meet the growing needs of families in the Wodonga region. Executive Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst, Ms Kate Fogarty, shared her confidence in the partnership:

The new College will offer cutting-edge facilities and a strong partnership with Catholic College Wodonga, providing families with genuine choice in Catholic education at two exceptional educational settings. Principal Ms Jennyne Wilkinson expressed her excitement:
“It’s wonderful to see the project progressing. We’re creating a learning environment that will serve this community for generations.”
Law Architects Director Sandy Law highlighted the unique opportunity to design a school that reflects the values of learning, thriving, and community—while embracing the natural beauty of the site and its connection to Country.
The College will open to Year 7 students in 2028, with current Year 4 students set to be part of the first intake; a special opportunity to be part of the foundation of something new.
Principal Jennyne Wilkinson said the name of the new Foundation to Year 12 facility; St Francis of Assisi College Baranduda, honoured the current name of the primary school and reflected a deep connection to the values and legacy of its namesake and the natural beauty of the College grounds.”
A new logo is being developed to establish a recognisable visual identity for St Francis of Assisi College Baranduda, while maintaining a clear link to the current school. It is expected that the new logo will be shared with the community next Term.
