The Sandhurst Diocese extends from Kerang in the states North West, to Corryong in the North East and includes the major regional areas of Bendigo, Echuca, Shepparton, Wangaratta and Wodonga as well as many vibrant smaller communities, providing primary and secondary education to more than 20,000 students in 58 educational settings, including primary, secondary, Foundation - Year 12 settings, Early Learning Centres and two alternative educational settings.

Future schools

St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Primary School Huntly has been announced as our newest Catholic School. 

Construction is set to begin in 2026 with the school to open its doors to students in 2027. The school will initially cater for Foundation, Grades 1 and 2 students, growing to a full cohort in 2031.

.An area has been allocated on site for the inclusion of an Early Learning Centre (ELC) in the future. We look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses and celebrating this exciting journey with the entire Huntly community.
