Unit Outline:

In this unit students will be introduced to the Bible as a special book. They will be given opportunities to explore images of God. They will come to understand that God’s love for them is revealed through their families, friends and creation and they will be given opportunities to give thanks for all these.

By the end of the unit students should be able to:

  • Recognise the Bible as a special book for Christians
  • Demonstrate their understanding that there are many different stories in the Bible that teach us about God and Jesus.
